Quilting with Kidlets

Lily's class made this amazing quilt for the school's fundraiser - Made from all recycled, repurposed and organic fabric, the kids embroidered their "green" words onto some "rocks." They brought in old clothing from home that was headed for Community Thrift, and we (with a large amount of help from the amazing Leah) turned all that old fabric into something new and beautiful. The pale aqua background fabric is made from 100% recycled plastic bottles.

This is too fab. Give those kids a big high 5. I love it. I want to see the whole thing. I am creating a program called youth MAKING a difference. Because of that kind of worthiness. YOU ROCK IN THE BEST WAY

So lovely. It's wonderful to see little ones learning to create with their hands and, also, learning about the environment. Fantastic!
